Updated October 9, 2026. This San Martin watches buying guide compares models currently offered by Watchdives, using their live specifications, USD variant prices and availability. The range includes steel dive watches, titanium collaboration models, GMT watches, everyday automatics and a compact quartz option.
The right starting point is the exact reference and configuration: two San Martin watches can differ in movement, case proportions, bezel material, clasp and delivery status. Browse the San Martin collection for the live selection.
What are San Martin watches?
San Martin is a Chinese watch brand. Its current Watchdives range spans vintage-inspired dive watches and more contemporary designs, including mother-of-pearl dials and simple everyday watches. Watchdives x San Martin models are collaborations; the SN0121TF titanium GMT is one current example.
“Luxury and affordability” is a broad description, rather than a specification. To judge value, compare what you receive at a particular price: case and bracelet materials, movement, dimensions, crystal, bezel and adjustment system. The examples below range from $218 to $465.50, depending on configuration.

Prices are for purchasable configurations at the update date, before any additional checkout discount. Availability varies by color, size and strap. Delivery charges and duty treatment depend on destination and the current shipping policy. These are selected examples, not a complete catalog or a promise that every variant is available.
Pre-order distinction: SN0121TE is available to order in selected blue configurations, but its product page still carries a pre-order notice. At this check, that notice estimated shipping would begin gradually from October 10. Treat this as an estimate and review the live notice before ordering.
Variant availability: at this check, SN0054G-F White and SN0017G-F Black Dial / Raised Black Bezel were unavailable. SN0121TE black configurations were also unavailable. Other listed colors or configurations may remain purchasable.
Which San Martin watch should you choose?
For a titanium GMT: Watchdives x San Martin SN0121TF
The SN0121TF combines a 39mm Grade 5 titanium case with a Grade 2 titanium bracelet and a Hangzhou 6465 automatic GMT movement running at 28,800 vph. The listing specifies a 24-click bidirectional ceramic GMT bezel, sapphire crystal with AR coating, BGW9 lume and 300m water resistance.
Its 47mm lug-to-lug length, 13.1mm thickness and approximately 104g weight give you concrete measurements to compare with steel GMT alternatives. Blue and black variants were purchasable at $299 at the update date. The bracelet is specified for wrists up to approximately 19cm; contact Watchdives about extra links if needed.
For a smaller vintage diver: SN0138-GB
The SN0138-GB is the compact mechanical diver in this selection: 37mm across, 45.8mm lug-to-lug and 12.4mm thick including the crystal. It uses an ST2130 automatic movement, sapphire with AR coating, a 120-click unidirectional aluminum bezel and an on-the-fly adjustable steel bracelet clasp.
The listing states 200m water resistance and a $298 price. Matte, waffle-textured and gradient dial choices are listed; choose the actual color and lume configuration you want on the product page. A smaller diameter does not automatically mean a thinner watch, so compare both measurements.
For a conventional 40mm steel diver: SN0017G-F
The SN0017G-F offers an ST2130 automatic movement, date display with magnifier, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel insert and 200m stated water resistance at $218. Its dimensions are 40mm in diameter, 48mm lug-to-lug and 11.7mm thick.
Its clasp has four micro-adjustment holes, rather than the on-the-fly system listed on the SN0138-GB. This makes the comparison more useful than simply choosing by movement or price: the SN0138 has a smaller case, aluminum bezel and a different clasp, while the SN0017 has a date display and ceramic insert.
For a steel GMT: SN0054G-F or SN0109G-A
The SN0054G-F uses HZ6460 and measures 38.3mm across the case, with a 39mm bezel, 47.8mm lug-to-lug length and 12.25mm thickness. It is listed at $280 with sapphire crystal, an on-the-fly adjustable clasp and 100m water resistance. The GMT movement specification includes 28,800 vph and 40 hours of energy storage.
The SN0109G-A is another HZ6460 option at $290, with a 39mm case, 48.5mm lug-to-lug length, 12.25mm thickness, aluminum bezel insert and on-the-fly adjustable clasp. Its current specification does not state a water-resistance rating, so confirm that detail with support if it matters to your purchase.
For both models, read the setting instructions for the exact watch rather than assuming how its GMT or local hour hand adjusts. Our Hangzhou 6460 movement guide explains the confirmed specifications.
For a hardened steel diver and full-dial lume options: SN0012-GB
The SN0012-GB uses ST2130 in a 40mm case with a 48.5mm lug-to-lug length and 12.3mm thickness. The product listing specifies 1200HV hardening coating on the steel case, bracelet and clasp, plus a ceramic insert, AR-coated sapphire and 200m water resistance.
The matte black version is $359.10; white and orange full-dial-lume versions are $380.80. Full-dial lume applies to those specific configurations, so do not assume the black variant has the same luminous appearance. The published hardness figure is a product specification, not a guarantee against scratches.
For a simple everyday automatic: SN0144CG-7
The SN0144CG-7 listing offers 36mm and 39mm sizes with a Miyota 90S5 no-date automatic movement. Both are specified at 10.1mm thick; the 36mm version is 43.5mm lug-to-lug and the 39mm version is 46.5mm lug-to-lug.
At $454.30, the configuration includes sapphire with AR coating, 100m stated water resistance, a five-link steel bracelet and on-the-fly adjustment. This is a useful choice to compare when you want a simpler dial and a slimmer case than the dive and GMT models above.
For a mother-of-pearl dial: SN0150G or SN0151-GL
The SN0150G is a 39mm Miyota 9015 automatic with mother-of-pearl dial options, 46.5mm lug-to-lug length, 10.2mm thickness and 100m stated water resistance. Current purchasable three-link-bracelet configurations were $455.
The SN0151-GL uses Miyota 90S5 in a 39mm case, with a shorter 45mm lug-to-lug length, 11mm thickness and 200m stated water resistance. It costs $422.80 on FKM or $465.50 on a steel bracelet. The strap version and bracelet version therefore should not be treated as the same-priced package.
Choose by the specific dial, case proportions and wearing setup. For movement context, see Miyota 9015 vs 90S5; the calibre name alone does not establish the measured accuracy of an individual finished watch.
For a small quartz watch: SN0151-GS
The SN0151-GS is distinct from the 39mm automatic SN0151-GL. It uses a Ronda 703 quartz movement and measures 32.5mm across, 39.5mm lug-to-lug and 10.2mm thick. The $253.40 listing includes an FKM strap, AR-coated sapphire, a luminous sapphire bezel and 200m stated water resistance.
Pink, light blue and white were purchasable at the update date. This is the compact battery-powered option in the selection, with an 18mm lug width rather than the 20mm width used by many larger models.
For a titanium three-hand diver: SN0121TE, currently pre-order
The Watchdives x San Martin SN0121TE has an ST2130 automatic movement, 39mm Grade 5 titanium case, Grade 2 titanium bracelet, ceramic dive bezel and 300m stated water resistance. It measures 47mm lug-to-lug and 11.7mm thick, with an approximate weight of 100.5g.
Selected blue configurations were orderable at $289, but the listing's pre-order notice controls the shipping expectation. Check its current schedule and choose the calendar or no-calendar configuration deliberately. It serves a different purpose from the GMT-equipped SN0121TF.
What to compare before buying a San Martin watch
- Fit: compare diameter, lug-to-lug length, thickness and bracelet length. The 36mm SN0144 and 37mm SN0138 offer different case profiles, while the 32.5mm SN0151-GS is smaller again.
- Movement and function: distinguish three-hand automatic, GMT and quartz models. An automatic that supports hand winding is still an automatic watch; that does not make it a manual-wind-only model.
- Bezel: compare its purpose, material and operation. A dive timing bezel and a GMT bezel serve different tasks. See our ceramic vs aluminum bezel guide for material tradeoffs.
- Bracelet and clasp: check whether the chosen variant includes FKM or a bracelet, and whether adjustment uses holes or an on-the-fly mechanism.
- Water resistance: use the exact reference's stated rating and operating instructions. A rating alone does not establish professional dive certification.
- Total price and delivery: compare the selected variant, current promotions, destination shipping terms and any pre-order notice before paying.

San Martin watches: frequently asked questions
Are San Martin watches worth considering?
They are worth comparing if a model's dimensions, movement and included hardware suit your needs. For example, the $218 SN0017G-F and $298 SN0138-GB both use ST2130, but differ in size, date display, bezel material and clasp. Assess those differences rather than treating the brand or price as a quality score.
How much do current San Martin watches cost?
The selected purchasable configurations in this guide range from $218 to $465.50 at the October 9, 2026 check. This is not the price range of every San Martin watch. Colors, straps, promotions and future price changes can alter what you pay.
Are all San Martin watches automatic?
No. The current SN0151-GS uses Ronda 703 quartz, while the other examples here use automatic movements. Check the complete reference, since SN0151-GS and SN0151-GL have different movements and dimensions.
Which San Martin watch is suitable for a smaller wrist?
Compare the 32.5mm SN0151-GS quartz, the 36mm SN0144CG-7 automatic and the 37mm SN0138-GB diver. Use lug-to-lug length and thickness as well as diameter; fit also depends on wrist shape and bracelet or strap adjustment.
Does every San Martin watch have sapphire or a ceramic bezel?
Do not generalize across the brand. The models selected here list sapphire crystals, but their bezels differ: SN0138-GB uses aluminum, SN0017G-F uses ceramic, and the everyday and MOP automatics have fixed steel bezels. Confirm the exact product specification.
Can I choose a different dial or strap?
Choose from the variants actually offered for the model. Those options are not a bespoke customization service, and stock can differ between configurations. For a replacement strap, verify lug width, end-link compatibility and the fitting method first.
Does “available to order” mean immediate dispatch?
No. A pre-order can be purchasable while production or assembly continues. SN0121TE carried a pre-order notice at this update; review its live shipping estimate separately from its purchase availability.
