Watchdives WD1993: A Slim Everyday GMT
The WD1993 combines a Hangzhou 6460 automatic GMT movement running at 28,800 vph with a fixed-bezel design. Its 40.5mm case, 47.5mm lug-to-lug length and 11.8mm thickness make it a useful starting point if you want mechanical GMT functionality in an everyday steel watch.
The enamel-white/BGW9 and cream/C3 configurations were both purchasable at $179 when checked. The current specification lists a five-hole milled clasp; a compatible OTF clasp is available separately. Water resistance is tested to 100m: the 200m figure mentioned on the listing is a design target, not a verified rating.
Watchdives WD16570B V2: The Compact Automatic Option
The WD16570B V2 uses the same named 6460 movement family in a smaller format: a 37mm case with a 38mm bezel, 46mm lug-to-lug length and 11.8mm thickness including the crystal. It has a fixed bezel, sapphire with triple AR coating and tested 100m water resistance.
The enamel-white/orange-GMT and matte-black/BGW9 options were purchasable at $189. The matte-white/red-GMT option was unavailable. This is the Hangzhou 6460 version; do not confuse it with the separately listed NH34 WD16570 V2, which had no purchasable variants at this check.
Watchdives WD16760 V2: Ceramic Bezel and NH34
The WD16760 V2 is the Watchdives option here with an NH34 automatic GMT movement, a 24-click bidirectional ceramic GMT bezel and stated 300m water resistance. The listing gives a 40mm bezel, 48mm lug-to-lug length and approximately 12.5mm thickness; the bezel measurement should not be treated as a separately verified case diameter.
Current purchasable choices include all-black, blue/black, black/green and blue/red configurations. Most available three-link options were $229 and five-link options $239; blue/red was $239 on the three-link bracelet and $249 on the five-link bracelet. The listed $209 options were unavailable, so $209 is not the current starting price in this guide. The Iron Tiger Stone Dial options were also unavailable.
Prefer a two-tone bracelet? The Black Dial/Rose Gold option with the three-link bracelet was purchasable at $229. It pairs silver-tone outer links with rose-gold-tone center links. The listing identifies 316L stainless steel; it does not specify the finish process or coating thickness.
The standard clasp has five micro-adjustment holes. An OTF clasp is a separate compatible purchase, rather than an included feature to assume for every configuration.
Watchdives WD0014: Aluminum Bezel and a Larger Case
The WD0014 pairs NH34 with a 24-click bidirectional aluminum bezel, sapphire with triple AR coating and a five-hole milled clasp. Its 41.5mm case is wider than its 40mm bezel; lug-to-lug is 48mm and thickness is 12.71mm.
At this check, the Black/BGW9 dial with Black/Red bezel was the purchasable $219 configuration. The blue/red and C3 options were unavailable. Use tested 100m water resistance for comparison, rather than the listing's unverified 200m design target.
Watchdives x San Martin SN0121TF: Titanium GMT Collaboration
The SN0121TF is a Watchdives collaboration developed with San Martin. It uses a Hangzhou 6465 automatic GMT movement at 28,800 vph, a 39mm Grade 5 titanium case and a Grade 2 titanium bracelet. It is a different calibre from the 6460 used in WD1993 and WD16570B V2.
The specification lists 47mm lug-to-lug, 13.1mm thickness, approximately 104g total weight, a 24-click bidirectional matte ceramic GMT bezel, sapphire with AR coating and stated 300m water resistance. A fly-adjustable titanium clasp is included. Both blue and black options were purchasable at $299. The listed bracelet fit is up to approximately 19cm; ask about additional links if needed.
Quartz GMT and San Martin Alternatives
If a Watchdives model is not the right fit, these published listings also had purchasable variants at the check. The ADDIESDIVE watches offer battery-powered GMT options; the San Martin watches provide additional mechanical designs and bracelet choices.
| Model | Movement | Listed USD price | Case / lug-to-lug / thickness | Crystal / bezel / water resistance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ADDIESDIVE AD2044 | Swiss 515-24H quartz | $78 | 39 / 48 / 14.5mm | Mineral / aluminum, 120-click unidirectional / stated 200m |
| ADDIESDIVE AD2035 / AD2036 | Swiss 515 GMT quartz | $85 | 39 / 48.5 / 12.8mm | Domed mineral / stated 200m |
| ADDIESDIVE AD2065 | Swiss 515 GMT quartz | $89 | 36 / 46 / 11.3mm | Bubble mineral / fixed bezel / stated 100m |
| San Martin SN0054G-F | HZ6460, 4Hz | $280 | 38.3 / 47.8 / 12.25mm | Top-hat sapphire / 24-click unidirectional steel / stated 100m |
| San Martin SN0109G-A | HZ6460, 4Hz | $290 | 39 / 48.5 / 12.25mm | Top-hat sapphire / aluminum insert / water rating not specified |
| San Martin SN005 (SN0005B1/B2) | NH34 automatic | $401.80–412.30 | 40 / 48.57 / 13mm | Bubble sapphire / 24-click bidirectional sapphire insert / stated 200m |
The $78 AD2044 is the lowest-priced option in this comparison, but its 14.5mm thickness is greater than that of the 11.3mm AD2065. Both use mineral crystal rather than sapphire. The AD2065 is the smallest case here at 36mm and has a 19mm lug width; size and strap compatibility may matter more than a small price difference.
The SN0054G-F and SN0109G-A include OTF clasps. The SN0054G-F white option was unavailable, while its other listed colors were purchasable. All four SN0109G-A dial options were purchasable, but its current description does not state a water-resistance rating or bezel rotation specification; confirm these if they affect your choice. For the NH34-powered SN005, only the two white-dial options were purchasable, at $401.80 and $412.30 depending on lume choice.
Automatic vs Quartz GMT: What Changes?
NH34 and the Independently Adjustable GMT Hand
NH34 is an automatic mechanical GMT movement. TMI specifies a central GMT hand, 21,600 vph and stop-seconds. Its operating instructions provide separate adjustment of the 24-hour hand at the first crown position. This is commonly called a caller GMT: it is useful for keeping another location's time visible, and should not be confused with an independently jumping local-hour travel GMT.
For practical operation and the distinction between GMT setting systems, see our NH34 movement guide and TMI's NH34 operation manual.
Hangzhou 6460 and 6465 High-Beat GMT
The 6460-powered watches above and the 6465-powered SN0121TF list 28,800 vph, or 4Hz. That gives the mechanical seconds hand a finer-looking sweep than a 3Hz movement, but frequency alone does not establish accuracy or reliability.
Keep the calibre numbers separate and follow the instructions for the exact watch. The current listings do not establish independent local-hour setting architecture well enough to assign a traveller-GMT label. Our Hangzhou 6460 movement guide explains the confirmed specifications and differences between individual applications.
Battery-Powered GMT
The ADDIESDIVE models use Swiss 515 GMT quartz movements as named on their listings, with AD2044 specifying 515-24H. They require battery maintenance rather than mechanical winding. A Swiss movement does not by itself make the complete watch Swiss-made. Crystal, water resistance, dimensions and bracelet specification still need to be compared model by model.
How to Read a GMT Watch
A conventional GMT hand travels around a 24-hour scale once per day. The ordinary hour and minute hands show one time zone; the GMT hand points to the hour in another. For example, if local time is 10:00 and the second location is six hours ahead, its GMT indication is 16:00 on the 24-hour scale.
A rotating 24-hour bezel can provide an additional offset reference. A fixed bezel remains in place, so it gives a simpler second-zone display without that bezel adjustment. A GMT bezel and a dive elapsed-time bezel serve different purposes; do not assume that every rotating bezel is operated or read the same way.
A 12-hour bezel can also help with a second time reference without adding a dedicated GMT hand. See our 12-hour bezel vs GMT explanation using WD1972 V2 if you are comparing those two approaches.
For date and GMT adjustment, use the exact movement instructions. TMI's NH34 manual warns against quick-setting the date between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. Screw-down crowns must be secured after adjustment, and should not be operated underwater.
Choose by Fit, Construction and Availability
Compare the whole footprint. WD16570B V2 is 37mm across and 46mm long; WD0014 is 41.5mm across and 48mm long. Similar lug-to-lug measurements can still feel different because of case shape, thickness, end links and bracelet fit. Our small-wrist sizing guide explains how to compare these dimensions with a watch you already wear.
Check the complete bracelet package. Five-hole micro-adjustment and on-the-fly adjustment are different features. WD1993 and WD16760 list compatible OTF upgrades separately, while SN0121TF and the San Martin models above list adjustable clasps in their supplied specification. Confirm the correct bracelet connection before buying an upgrade.
Use the documented water rating. WD1993, WD16570B V2 and WD0014 are tested to 100m. Their 200m design targets should not be substituted for that tested figure. A stated depth rating is also not proof of dive certification; check the exact watch's intended use and instructions.
Select the actual variant before comparing price. A product page can remain published after every variant sells out. Color, bracelet and movement version can change both availability and price, so check the chosen option rather than relying only on the model name.
Unavailable and Historical GMT Listings
WD6542 and the NH34 WD16570 V2 remained published but had no purchasable variants on October 9, 2026. They are useful specification references and are excluded from the current-buy tables.
The same distinction applies to San Martin SN0054-GE and Thorn T012/T020, which also had no purchasable variants. Earlier SN0121TC and SN0140W listings were unpublished. Their specifications should not be carried over to SN0121TF or other current models simply because names or styling are related.
Care and Ordering
Wipe the watch with a soft cloth, protect it from impacts and strong magnetic fields, and follow the model's water-use and crown instructions. Quartz battery replacement and mechanical servicing are different maintenance jobs; use the exact watch's instructions and seek assessment if winding, setting or timekeeping changes substantially.
Before ordering, confirm the selected variant, wrist fit, destination-specific checkout total and current return and warranty terms. The featured product listings state a two-year warranty; review the applicable policy for coverage and conditions. Start with the GMT collection to compare the current range.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which current Watchdives automatic GMT has the smallest case?
Among the Watchdives models compared here, WD16570B V2 has the smallest case at 37mm, with a 38mm bezel and 46mm lug-to-lug length. It uses Hangzhou 6460, not NH34.
What is the current starting price for WD16760 V2?
The lowest purchasable configurations observed were $229. The $209 options were unavailable, and the available blue/red configurations cost $239 or $249 depending on bracelet.
Is WD16570B V2 a 38mm watch?
Its product title uses 38mm, while the detailed dimensions specify a 37mm case and 38mm bezel. Both figures describe different parts of the watch.
Are all the GMT watches here automatic?
No. NH34, Hangzhou 6460 and Hangzhou 6465 options are automatic mechanical watches. ADDIESDIVE AD2044, AD2035/AD2036 and AD2065 are battery-powered quartz GMT watches.
Does WD1993 include an OTF clasp?
The current listing specifies a five-hole milled clasp and a compatible OTF clasp sold separately. Do not assume the upgrade is included in the $179 watch price.
Do GMT watches adjust automatically for daylight saving time?
These analog GMT watches require manual time-zone adjustments when an applicable offset changes. Check both local and reference time rather than assuming one hand always remains correct.
Does a sold-out listing mean the watch is discontinued?
No. This guide reports Watchdives purchase availability at the dated check. It does not establish a manufacturer's worldwide production status or a restock date.
